"Lite" Fusion Starter subtheme now available

Hmmm, pear or apple...Just committed to the dev release of Fusion (D6 & D7), a Fusion Starter Lite subtheme.

Fusion packs in a lot of power, but you might not need all the regions, starter CSS, or want all of Fusion Core’s Skinr styles inherited automatically. It also simplifies the markup, removing the wrapper divs on rows, which are handy for styling full width backgrounds, but unnecessary if you don’t need this feature.

I created a comparison table of the two Fusion Starter themes for Drupal, with more information on the differences between the two.

If you’ve resisted Fusion because of the heavy markup, now is the time to take it for another spin  ;)

Please let us know if you have any feedback on this dev release, as we’ll be creating an RC2 (final RC) in the coming days if no further issues are reported.

Have always been a Fusion fan

We've always been a big fan of the Fusion theme. Didn't know there was a lite version, so that's really good to know. We'll roll it out on the drupal version of our Excel training London web site (based in UK).
