Why do your themes require me to use a module?

For Drupal 6, The Skinr module was created in collaboration with Gravitek Labs, in response to feedback from our customers and the thousands of people using our free Drupal themes.

For Drupal 7, the Fusion themes make use of Fusion Accelerator, folding the functionality of Skinr into our own module and updating it for the newest release.

Instead of having us make a lot of assumptions about your site and your content, it gives you a huge range of options through Drupal’s user interface. This allows you to use all the styles in the theme where you need them most, and not be limited by one layout or set of design options.

The module reads the styles we create in the theme and provides the mechanism through which you can switch styles on blocks, nodes, views, panels, and more.
